Over 150 years of innovation, between tradition and future.
The history of Graetz began in the heart of Germany in 1866, when Albert Graetz and Emil Ehrich founded the Lampen-Fabrik Ehrich & Graetz in Berlin. From a small production of oil lamps, a journey began that would illuminate generations.

With the arrival of Max Graetz in 1887, the company grew rapidly to become an international benchmark in the production of gas and oil lanterns. During these years, a timeless icon was born: PETROMAX, still today a symbol of reliability and ingenuity.
From light to electronics.
Overcoming the challenges of World War I thanks to a strong entrepreneurial vision, Graetz evolved and transformed.
In 1925, it introduced radio production, opening a new chapter in home entertainment.
In the 1960s, another turning point came: Graetz entered the television market, establishing itself as one of the leading players in the European technology landscape. Alongside TVs and radios, the range expanded with innovative household appliances, bringing the brand into millions of homes.

A legacy looking ahead.
Today, Graetz enters the 21st century with a new vision: combining the elegance of Italian design with the precision of German engineering.
Our product lines range from next-generation TVs to carefully selected devices, as well as a wide range of products for the kitchen and everyday life. Each product is designed to be intuitive, essential, and perfectly integrated into your digital experience.
